Outstanding Results for Our MAG Squad at Regional Championships

Our Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) squad delivered a series of outstanding performances at the regional compulsory setworks competition in Ipswich on Sunday, 21st September. Facing a highly competitive field, including renowned Olympic clubs, our boys demonstrated skill, determination, and sportsmanship across all six apparatus and the Physical Preparation Programme (PPP).

Podium Highlights:

• Max: 1st in PPP & Parallel Bars, 2nd in Vault
• Gwynn: 3rd in High Bar
• Jacob: 3rd in Floor & Vault
• Hugo: 1st in Floor, 2nd in Pommel
• Cas: 3rd in Rings, 1st in Vault
• Harry: 3rd in Floor, 1st in Pommel
• Remi: 1st in Vault

Overall Scores:

• Pre-level 1: Max 4th, Gwynn 12th
• Level 1: Jacob 5th, Hugo 6th
• Level 2: Cas 7th, Harry 8th
• Level 3: Remi 6th

As the regional squad is typically selected from the top six gymnasts in each category, we now eagerly await the official announcement to see if any of our talented boys have been chosen.
