General Gymnasts Regional Finals 26th May 2024!

Sunday 26th May was the first of three regional finals that some of our gymnasts qualified for back in April! 

Firstly we would like to start with a huge congratulations to all of those who attended, for all 4 of these gymnasts this was the biggest competition and their first external competition! Our 4 gymnasts Nathaniel, Kaylee, Gwen and Brooke travelled to Pipers Vale Gymnastics Club in Ipswich! 

Nathaniel qualified in High Bar, P Bars, Vault and Floor, he had a great competition with some tough competitiors! As well as his lovely routines Nathaniels enthusiasm shone throughout the day! Brooke qualified on floor, she performed a overall good routine, for her first external competition Brooke channelled her nerves well and gave us a lovely floor routine! Gwen had a fantastic routine performed on the bars, a very tidy and clean routine overall!  

A special mention to Kaylee - Kaylee qualified for floor and vault in the county finals and competed these at Pipers Vale! Despite feeling a little nervous Kaylee delivered an excellent floor routine and an outstanding vault, winning her a regional gold medal for her vault! 

SALTO would like to thank coaches Amanda and Laura, for travelling up with these gymnasts and Hollie for Judging on the day!
